Sims 4 players, welcome to Evergreen Harbor, a sustainable City of your dreams, join your fellow collaborative makers and activists in the Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle expansion pack. Coming on June 5, 2020 to PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Change The World:
In Evergreen Harbor every action and decision you make will influence the state of the world around you. The clearer the town gets the more you’ll see nature thrive. You determine the whether the skies are smoggy, or clear. Players can also either let the garbage pile up on the street or clean it up to create lush green paths in the town of Evergreen Harbor.
Upgrade your home:
There will be new updates in the “Build/Buy” that are going green. For the first time, players you can offset your bills with wind turbines, solar panels, and dew collectors. You can reduce your eco footprint and invest in a living rooftop for a splash of color. On the inside you can choose between new beautiful furniture or recycle someone else’s junk in to beautiful items, it’s your decision!
Make it or Break it:
Players, there’s also a new job title, Maker. If you choose this job you will go around town keeping an eye out for collectibles and materials for your next project. Only thing is if you’re brave enough you can try dumpster diving for different resources like dyes, bits & pieces, and ingredients; as long as you don’t mind the smell. Also if you choose to be a Freelance Crafter, you can fill mail and internet orders for your candles, fizzy juices, upcycled objects, and many more. Or if you want, try to encourage your neighbors to vote for a community maker space where everyone can craft together.
Use your Voice:
The unused community spaces are going to waste, literally, it’s being used as a dump. So gather up your neighbors to decide how to use that space. In order to get the maker space, you are going to need support. Or, do you want a shared planting space with vertical gardens instead? Every week players can join your new community in voting for a Neighborhood Action Plan. Transform the shared lot, promote the performing arts, suggest weekly workout, demand an upcycling initiative, or explore the other options on the board. But just know you could end up with a paper bag on your head if things go wrong.
Just know whatever you do and whatever choices you do in Evergreen Harbor, you are changing the world!
