Recently Bandai Namco informed everyone that they’ve done their best to adapt to the Coronavirus, but they need more time to achieve their goals.
Tales of Arise, which is the next game in the long running Tales series, is now being delayed. Bandai Namco has explained the delay suggesting that it might be related to the workflow changes because of the Coronavirus.
From a blog post, from the producer, Yusuke Tomizawa, he doesn’t cite the reason as it being the pandemic, but it does go straight mentioning the development challenges into the studio needing more time to deliver their vision.
“While Covid-19 has affected some aspects of development, we’ve done our best to adapt to the situation and have implemented remote development capabilities for our team. However, we will need more time to achieve the quality and provide the gorgeous experience we envision for our players and therefore we decided to delay the launch timing for Tales of Arise.”
Tales of Arise will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime this year!
