The Free Multiplayer Online weekend requires some kind of internet connection along with a PSN account. This will only be available from Dec 19 at midnight (local time) until Dec 20 at 11:59pm.
Players that have game with an active online multiplayer mode/feature will be able to play them for a limited time.
